Raymond N. Fraga

Raymond Nestor Fraga, 70, passed away on October 10, 2023. Ray was born on September 10, 1953, to Ramon and Maria Fraga in Ysleta, TX. He graduated from Ysleta High and became a successful entrepreneur of numerous commercial endeavors, from industrial products to oil recycling to automotive sales, his last being AR Mattress Sales. Ray was a devoted Catholic and 4th Degree Knight of Columbus. He was loud, boisterous, humorous, and loved life. He married the love of his life, Alma Rosa Salinas, in 1989. They have two daughters, Debra and Niomie. He was a strong, kind, loving and supportive husband and father. Niomie blessed Ray with Roman allowing him to become a most affectionate grandfather. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Ramon M. Fraga and Mary M. Morales, and brothers Thomas and Anthony. He is survived by his wife Alma Rosa, daughters Debra Tisa (Bryan) and Niomie, grandson Roman Thomas, sisters Melinda Fornero (Dan), Raquel (Anthony), Zhi (Thomas), brothers Mike (Melissa) and Robert, and numerous nephews and nieces.

A visitation for Raymond will be held Tuesday, October 17, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at St Raphael Catholic Church, 2301 Zanzibar, El Paso, Texas 79925. A rosary will occur Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at 6:00 PM, 2301 Zanzibar, El Paso, Texas 79925. A funeral mass will occur Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at 10:00 AM, 2301 Zanzibar, El Paso, Texas 79925. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at 11:30 AM at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 401 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, Texas 79907.
