Regina Rivera

Regina P. Rivera, 93, passed away Saturday, January 31, 2015. She is survived by her three children, Cecilia Mendez, Juan Rivera, Jr. and partner Jennifer Roeder, Ruben A. Rivera and wife Kathy, grandchildren Ronnie Gomez-Glaug and husband Mark Glaug, Michael John Rivera, Stephen Andrew (Drew) Rivera, Kayla Marie Romero, Evan Matthew Rivera, great-grandson Anthony Glaug, brother, Jaime Parra and wife Ofelia, sister-in-law Rosa M. Parra, numerous nephews, nieces, many beloved extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Juan Rivera, her father, Jose Parra, her mother, Maria C. Parra, brother, Jose Javier Parra, grandchildren, James Evan Rivera, Lauren Marie Rivera, and son-in-law, Guadalupe (Lou) Mendez. She was a member of the choir and was very active at Sacramento and Friendly Senior Citizens’ Centers with art, music productions, and various dance performances. Regina “Reggie” Rivera’s smile, laughter, singing and love for others will be greatly missed by many and forgotten by none. Visitation will be held at Hillcrest Funeral Home-West, 5054 Doniphan Dr. El Paso, TX 79932 on Friday, February 6, 2015 from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm. With vigil service at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be at Our Lady of Guadalupe church on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 10:00am. Cremation to follow.
