Richard P Coronado

Richard P. Coronado, 86, of El Paso, Texas, passed away on March 28, 2026, after a lengthy illness. He is survived by his devoted wife of 62 years, Lilia; his daughter, Deborah (Misty) Clayton Coronado; his sisters, Gloria (Meryl) Ramsey and Emily Anchondo; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends who loved him dearly.

Richard was born in Houston and later called both Killeen and El Paso home. He proudly served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran.

He had a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life. Richard enjoyed gardening, collecting coins, trying new foods, and traveling. Above all, he cherished spending time with his wife and their beloved pets.

Richard’s presence will be profoundly missed, but his memory will continue to live on in the

hearts of all who knew him.

Services will be held at Martin Funeral Home East, 1460 George Dieter Drive, El Paso, TX 79936, US, on April 15, 2026, from 9:00 am to 11:30 pm.

A Committal Service will take place at External Service Location, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, TX 79904, US, on April 15, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 12:45 pm.
