Robert Samuel Kirkpatrick passed January 15, 2013, following a prolonged illness. Born February 24, 1934 to Florence and Walton Kirkpatrick in Scranton, Pennsylvania, he lived in El Paso since 1950. Graduated from Austin High School, attended UTEP and served in the Navy. He enjoyed artwork and a career in architecture, with numerous industrial buildings bearing his mark throughout El Paso. His greatest joy and wealth are the family he leaves behind: his beloved wife of 55 years, Shirley, his six daughters, Lisa, Carrie, Valerie, Julie, Camille and Claudine and thirteen grandchildren.
A truly gracious man who we will miss dearly.
Memorial service will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Martin East at 1460 George Dieter on Monday, January 21, 2013 at 2:00 pm.
