Robert Melendez

Robert Melendez, 58, of El Paso, Tx passed away peacefully on February 5, 2026 . He is survived by his wife Chrstina Melendez and sons Robbie and Daniel Melendez. He is also survived by his sister Cynthia Peralta and brother Paul Melendez. Robert was uncle to several nieces and nephews whom he cherished. He is preceded in death by his Mother Isela Melendez, Father Alonzo Melendez and brothers Ruben and Rudy Melendez. A graduate of Ysleta High School, Class of 86, Once an Indian Always an Indian. Robert retired from Sun Metro in 2020.

Robert was a hard-working person and loved to have fun. He lived life by always saying yes. He was known everywhere he went and was a huge believer in Bigfoot. Whether Robert was watching Bogie Creek for the 100th time while clutching his beloved string or riding his Harley, he always brought joy to the people around him. Robert will be greatly missed by all, especially his family. He lived for his family and treasured his friends. May you rest in eternal peace. Amen.

Visitation will be held at Hillcrest Funeral Home, located at 1060 North Carolina Drive, El Paso, Texas, 79915, on February 12, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A Rosary Service will also take place at Hillcrest Funeral Home on February 12, 2026, starting at 6:00 pm.
