Robert Rojas
August 1st, 1948 – August 27th, 2025
Robert Rojas, 77, our beloved Father, Brother and Grandfather entered eternal life on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, surrounded by his loving family in his hometown of El Paso, Texas. Robert was affectionately known as the ‘Chief’ by his friends and family—a nickname earned during his All-Star football days at Ysleta High School. His passion and dedication to the game led him to receive a full athletic scholarship to New Mexico State University, a milestone that made his family and community proud. He was also proudly employed by El Paso Natural Gas Company for 40+ years in Safety Management. He held another All-Star Softball title by the "Hueco Country Club" associated with EPNG Co. Robert’s fondness for sports, music, movies, country dancing, great food, and spending time with his close-knit family and friends reflected the fullness of his spirit and the things he cherished most in life.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Donato Rojas, Jr. & Socorro Franco. He is survived by his four sisters, Olga Rojas, Rachel Mona, Linda Borrego, and Kristine Beltran; his three children, James, Carey, and Stacy Rojas; as well as his ten grandchildren & four great-grandchildren, who will continue to carry his memory in their hearts forever.
Memorial Services:
Thursday September 11th, Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Vigil/Rosary will begin at 7:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Restlawn, 8817 Dyer St. El Paso 79904.
Friday, September 12th at 8:00 a.m. a Funeral Mass will begin at St. Patrick's Cathedral Church, 1118 N. Mesa St. El Paso 79902. Following Mass, he will be laid to rest at Restlawn Memorial Park - Garden of Devotion at 9:30 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to Restlawn Memorial Park 4848 Alps, El Paso 79904.
