Rosie, four years ago you left this world to go to a better place.  A place where there is no more pain for you, a place where you are at peace.  However, I miss you more than I ever imagined!  Yesterday, your daughters Brandy n Misty, your grandkids, Olivia n Dorian, your sisters, Flavia n Jessie went to visit your grave.  We got together at my house afterwards to celebrate your life on earth.  We all miss you n love you!

Happy Heavenly Birthday Aunt Rosie. I miss you and love you!!!

I am pleased with the close relationship that we shared and still miss our conversations and your laughter.  I know you are in a heavenly place because you lived a life of love for all your children, grandchildren and your friends and relatives.   I was also privileged to receive your warmth and love as the close cousins that we were. Please pray for us that we may live a life of kindness, forgiveness and love towards others as you exemplified. Love you cousin!

My dear sister I can't believe it's been 2yrs since you left us. I can still remember calling everyday to see how you were and you would tell me "I'm fine little sister don't worry about me ". I know you are fine because you are in God's loving arms. Love you forever and ever sister.

Aunt Rosie was a very funny lady. She was a real “traviesa.”  Girls, you know what I’m talking about!!!  I am very glad that I got to spend time with her before she passed. You are and forever will be missed. Love you Rosie. 

I can’t believe it’s been a year. You were so full of life, so much warmth and love. I have the fondest memories spending time with you and Yvette... dancing, laughing, singing together.  Your effervescent spirit will always live on in your children and grandchildren, and I know that you will always look after them. May you Rest In Peace and Love.

My beloved sister,Its been  a year since you left us and I still can't believe you're gone. I miss you so much! I have a picture of you on my kitchen table and I kiss you and talk to you all the time. All the memories I have of you are what keeps me going through the day. I'm just grateful sister that you are not in pain anymore and are resting in God's heavenly arms! Rest in peace Rosie

It has been 1 year since you left us Rosie.  I miss you still.  Everytime I look at your picture my eyes tear up.  Just like they are doing as i write this.  My only consolation is knowing that you are finally free of ALL pain and very happy in heaven.  You are forever  in my heart!! 

It is almost a year since my cousin Rosie left this earth to experience eternal life with our heavenly father. We still miss your joyous laughter, the warm love you offered unconditionally and  beautiful presence in our lives. We hope we are worthy of joining you when we pass through this life and meet you again in our next life. You remain in my heart and memory always.

Unfortunately, we never got to know Mrs. Rosie Gonzalez personally. But after everything we have learned from her daughter Yvette, Rosie was a very special woman. How much love and sacrifice Rosie brought up her children can be seen from the great and successful woman her daughter Yvette has become. May the soul of Rosie, where she is now, bring as much joy to her companions as she obviously always did to her family and friends during her lifetime. We think of her. Her wisdom, her love, her big heart will never be forgotten. I am so happy and thankful I had the chance to know and spend time with someone as loving, caring and sweet.  I called her “mamita” this is how much I cared about her and that name really suited her. She left us way too soon and quickly, but I know she is in a better place, in the presence of God and the angels, watching over all of us. I miss you “mamita” God bless your soul and keep on watching over us.

~ January 27, 2021 will mark one year since our loving and beautiful Mommy joined our ancestors. Those of you who were close to our Mom know of the valiant struggle she waged. Our most heartfelt love still resonates to and from all of you. 

She moved on to the spirit world on January 27, 2020.  On her upcoming memorial, we honor and pay respect to her selfless, vibrant, joyous, playful, nurturing, and beautiful soul.   

We miss you every second of every day, and we know you’re watching over us. ~ 

The most joyous laugh I've ever heard.  I hear your laugh in my children everyday mom.  I love you and miss you more than ever.  I couldn't of asked God to bless me with a more perfect woman to take on the role of being my mommy.  

Mrs. Gonzalez was one of my sons CDL teachers last year 2018/2019 at Andress. She was the most caring person!! My son loved her dearly! She will most certainly be missed by him and all of us!!

My big sister Rossi, I remember your big hair and big brown eyes. My sister you are life, love, laughter. Sweet, kind loving, you will always and forever be in our hearts. I love you big sister, and you would always say love you little sister my Ra Ra, heaven is so lucky

The other night my husband was helping me through a hard time I was having with thoughts of my mom.  He said, lets say a Triumphant prayer for her, and then he asked If I knew what the word Triumphant meant, it means having won a battle or contest, victorious.  What a perfect word for my mom.  She was definitely Triumphant.  She didn’t lose a battle to cancer at all, She WON her battle she fought hard for during her time here in this horrible world, she was Victorious in her faith, and in God’s eyes.

A New Life
3-5 What a God we have! And how fortunate we are to have him, this Father of our Master Jesus! Because Jesus was raised from the dead, we’ve been given a brand-new life and have everything to live for, including a future in heaven—and the future starts now! God is keeping careful watch over us and the future. The Day is coming when you’ll have it all—life healed and whole.
6-7 I know how great this makes you feel, even though you have to put up with every kind of aggravation in the meantime. Pure gold put in the fire comes out of it proved pure; genuine faith put through this suffering comes out proved genuine. When Jesus wraps this all up, it’s your faith, not your gold, that God will have on display as evidence of his victory.

Rosie, Rosa, Rosy Posy, Grandma, mom, Mrs. G., whatever you called her, don’t forget her.  WE were all so blessed to be apart of her story.  She was an amazing mom, a ridiculously fun grandma, a loving sister, a beautiful daughter, a kingdom wife, a teacher you remember, and the friend you always wanted.  So if you are watching us from heaven right now mommy, still doubting any little thing about the life you lived, don’t, because not only did you leave behind a family that couldn’t love you more if they tried, you left behind a legacy.


My altar gained a saint last Monday,  I still cant believe you're no longer here, Rosie. You were so much fun and full of innocent mischief.  You would always proudly introduce me as your teacher and it was humbling to know that despite being older than me, you never undermined me and were always open to learn, both in and out of the classroom.  Believe it or not, our time together taught me many things that I carry with me always.  You are free now and can do as you please when you please, and although I'll miss you, I'm very happy for you. Till we meet again my Rosie Posie, dance in power🌹🌸 

PART 1
My Mother was a Glorious woman.  She lived everyday of her life so joyfully, and so lovingly.  And She knew so many people! She knew at least 3 people, every time we went to Walmart, from small toddlers to the elderly.  And She talked to everyone the same way, with love.  And if they looked around my age she always thought I went to school with them, but I completely understand after having 5 kids just like my mom did, even after our third baby, they all start to look the same, sound the same, everyone has the same name, the same friends and same birthdate.  

She often doubted herself, which most moms would completely understand.  She never realized just how amazing and accomplished she truly was.  She volunteered at Bradley Elementary when us younger 3 started going to school there for about 10 years.  In that time she helped out in the classrooms because she loved it, and she helped teach 15-20 kids every year she was there.  That’s about 200 kids she made an impact on.   Then she moved onto Andress High School once we 3 younger three started attending high school and continued her journey there working as a teachers aid half day in the CDL department.  And that was around 10 kids every year, for almost 20 years.  Not including the high school kids that took that class.  That’s an additional 200 kids lives she touched..  That’s 400 kids lives she got to be apart of, and that’s not including our friends, that’s not including family members, and that’s not including her friends and there families.  And some of those kids she taught grew up and had kids she taught as well.  And the list goes on and on. 

PART 2
We all know she was a local karaoke star.  She karaoked at Taco Cabana, Pizza hut, Mulligans, wherever she could.  She loved to sing, not just when she was older and we all left, but ever since we were little.  She would have her music playing while doing stuff around the house, and she’d be singing and dancing all over the place.  And it’s no secret that none of us learned Spanish growing up, but the Spanish I did know when I was younger was in the form of my moms songs.  I could sing you Rocio Durcal Me gustas mucho, but I would have no idea what I was saying.  That last real visit I got with my mom at the Mayo Clinic, I got to hold her like a baby and sing a lullaby to her that she use to sing to us all, first in English and then she’d repeat it again in Spanish.  I got through the English part and it got kind of quiet and she leans back and looks at me and says “Well”, and I had to say mom you know I don’t know Spanish.  She tried to coach me through it but it didn’t go too great.  But She had such courage going up in front of everyone when she Karaoked, not just people she knew but strangers, and not just singing but dancing too!  You can’t get me to go up in front of anyone to sing and dance for any amount of money, but my mom did it as much as she could because she loved it.   My mom and dad would karaoke at home almost every night together.  My mom was a Carole King impersonator and my dad was an undercover Elvis impersonator.  They sometimes were singing Til 4 am!  I didn’t know they were partying like that for so long, and one day she told me and I couldn’t believe it.  But it warmed my heart, the image of my parents, singing and dancing together into the night, and it will forever warm my heart.  

My cousin Rosie we didn't see each other much as adults  but we where in contact.  I remember as kids Mom and  Dad taking us to El Paso for family vacations and me just in awww of all the kids Aunt Francis had...lol! I have to say you where my Mom's favorite she so enjoyed your company and the way you both just laughed together... You both had that contagious laugh....I am so blessed to have seen you this last December. You will be missed. RIP  

Rosie:I will always remember your beautiful smile and your contagious laugh. You brought so much happiness to your family  and to all the people that loved you. I will miss you my dear cousin, RIP.

I will never forget how you brought joy to the family with your jokes and laughter.   Your charisma was one and only.   I will forever carry you in my heart.   The only consolation is that you are no longer suffering and you are now up in Heaven with our creator.   R.I.P TIA I love you 

Dear Yvette,

I did not get to meet your mother but after reading her biography, I can say that you have honored your mom through your own life, by serving, inspiring and caring for others.  Your PoSSUM family can attest to those attributes and are blessed by your mom's legacy through you.  We wish you strength and peace during this difficult time.  Remember, your mom's DNA is imprinted in your body and soul.  She will forever be a part of you.

Aunt Rosie, I'll always remember you as my silly and loving aunt. Thank you for watching over my brother and I when we were little. I'll always remember spending time with you and my cousins at your house after school, you were a saint for watching over all of us! I grew up with you working at most of the schools I attended which I always felt was so comforting. You always knew how to make everyone laugh and how to brighten up the moment whether it was through your jokes, singing or you pinching our behinds. Rest easy now tia and may god bless your beautiful soul .

Aunt Rosie, you will be greatly missed. Thank you for the great memories of karaoke, your jokes and taking care of me when I was younger.  I'm gonna miss watching you sing your songs.  I know you and Grandma are up in Heaven joking around, laughing and watching over us. Take care of our babies that we were not able to hold and say hi to everyone. Until we meet again. Love you. 


My sister Rosie was beautiful inside and out. She had a great sense of humor and always made everyone laugh with her craziness. Her children were her pride and joy and she loved all her beautiful grandchildren and adored her daughter in law. My brothers and sisters will treasure all the wonderful memories she left behind. May you rest in peace my beautiful sister for we are truly gonna miss you!

My beautiful cousin and I shared many times together. She added much joy to my life with our long walks and talks,  and her happy laughter.  She loved God and her family and prayed daily. You are forever printed in my heart and soul. God has received you in his loving arms for you died as a saint.

Rosie was a regular at my karaoke shows. I am in shock to hear of her passing as she was always in good spirits. She loved to sing and dance and was one if my favorite people I looked forward to seeing each week. She loved her husband and always talked about her kids and grandchildren. I'm sad that she gone but I know she's somewhere singing some Carol King. Shake it Rosie!❤

 Mrs G was a loving and caring person she didn't care if you where a bad person she would make them feel life. She spoke life to me once. I would see Mrs G and Mr G at Wal-Mart at the McDonald's and she would see me and ask me how's your mom doing mijo and your sister how are you doing..  Mrs G always had a smile on her face.. Always don't matter what was going on in life she was good to me and my brother lee. Your in a better place its time for you to rest. Love you Mrs G 

Ms. Rosie was one of the most beautiful people I have ever met. She was soulful, joyous and just brilliant. I will miss her so very much, she is dancing with the stars.♡♡♡♡♡

Mrs. Gonzalez is survived by a large and loving family: her five children Sean, Misty Tiffany, Brandy, and Yvette; her ten grandbabies Keith, Jianna, Olivia, Dorian, Jubilee, Charlotte, Scarlet, Jack, Ian, and Thaddeus; her five sisters Flavia, Catalina, Rachel, Jesse, and Mary; her six brothers Narciso (Chicho), Juan, Jesus (Chuy), Roberto, Javier, and Raul; and her husband, Hector.
