Ruben "Wowsi" Melendez Ponce

Con profundo cariño celebramos la vida de Ruben Melendez Ponce, nacido el 6 de octubre de 1936 y fallecido el 27 de febrero de 2026, a los 89 años. Ruben, un hombre amado y querido, será recordado por su espíritu compasivo, generoso y gentil, así como por su carácter honesto y de gran corazón.  

Ruben vivía en El Paso, Texas. Su presencia dejó una huella cálida y luminosa en quienes tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo, y su legado permanece en los recuerdos compartidos, en las conversaciones que reconfortan y en el amor que sigue uniendo a quienes lo extrañan.  

Hoy, al despedirlo, honramos la manera en que Ruben vivió: con bondad, con ternura y con una generosidad que hablaba por sí sola. Que su memoria sea siempre motivo de gratitud y que su vida continúe inspirando con la misma luz que supo regalar a los demás.
