Ruben Romero Sr.

Ruben Romero was born March 19, 1953 in El Paso, TX to Manuel and Lorenza (Vazquez) Romero. He passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 21st near Van Horn, TX. He served in the United States Marine Corps in early 1970 and was a long time resident of Lubbock, TX. He is predeceased by his parents along with a brother. He is survived by his children, grandchildren, four sisters, two brothers, along with several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be on Friday, September 7, 2018 from 10am to 12pm at Hillcrest Funeral Home with a funeral service at noon. Mr. Romero will be laid to rest immediately after his service at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery with military honors. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
