The seventh child of Jesus Terrazas and Francisca Marquez. Salvador (Chava) was born on September 19,1943. He attended Lamar Elementary School, El Paso Technical High School(La Tech), class of 1961, and Texas Western College. He was a member of the marching band in both high school and college.
As a young boy he was sharp shooter playing marbles. He delivered the newspaper morning and evening editions. Chava was a state champion bowler, a good golfer, and he loved the Stock Market.
Chava's career was working in the grocery business.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers Daniel, Gilberto, Jesus; sisters Isabel and Magdalena.
Salvador is survived by his wife Adele Guzman; his children Eric, Nadine Rose(Craig); his grandchildren Evie Kate, James, Claire, J.T, Jordan Jade, Sadie Rain, and 5 great grandchildren; siblings Cecilia Cobos(Manny), Francisco, Juan(Lucy), Manuel(Carmen) , and Eddie(Alicia).
Visitation for Salvador will be Monday, April 6, 2026 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with a vigil service at 10:30 am at Crestview Funeral Home, 1462 North Zaragoza Rd., El Paso, Texas 79936. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:30 am at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church, 12200 Vista Del Sol Drive, El Paso, Texas 79936.
