Sofia B Del Valley

She was a mother, grandmother, aunt, and sister. She enjoyed arts and crafts, creating new meals and desserts for the holidays. She was strong, hard working, intelligent, humble, and a heart oving person who put her family first and was always there for anyone that needed her. She has always been proactive and resilient no matter what life threw at her.

She provided warmth and care in her loving home to all her family and friends.

She made sure all of her children felt loved and taught them to be kind, compassionate, brave, and confident. She always encouraged them to be good students and with her support, all her children achieved academic success by receiving their college degrees.

All she ever wanted for her family was the best for them, to be happy, and to live life to the fullest everyday.

She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Rayito.

She is survived by her loving children, daughter Rosy and son Larry, daughter in law Araceli, granddaughter Nana, granddaughter in law Fanie, grandson's Christian and Michael, and many more of her loving relatives.

A visitation for Sofia will be held Friday, August 8, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 North Carolina Drive, El Paso, TX 79915. A rosary service will occur Friday, August 8, 2025 at 7:00 PM, 1060 North Carolina Drive, El Paso, TX 79915. A funeral mass will occur Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 7424 Mimosa Ave, El Paso, Texas 79915. A graveside service will occur Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 11:30 AM at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 401 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, Texas 79907.
