Steven Martinez, 62, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2018. Steven was a devoted and loving husband, father, and brother. He was a hot rodder and widely considered as a true man’s man who was no stranger to hard work. Steven was also best known as a man who would give the shirt off his back to help anyone in need. Steven is survived by his wife of 34 years Norma Martinez, children: Gabriel and Stephany, brothers: Michael, George, and Robert, sisters: Lucy, Susie Acosta, and Teresa Martin, numerous nieces and nephews, and his trusted companion, Oliver. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, George and Socorro Martinez, and his brother, Richard Anthony Martinez. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 8, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Vigil at 7:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home- East.
