Carol Sue Pope, 72, loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2015. Sue was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Pope. She worked as a Certified Paralegal for over 30 years and a member of TAPA-Texas Alliance of Paralegal Associates. Sue was an avid bowler and was inducted into the Women’s Bowling Hall of Fame. She is survived by her children, Helen Marie Pope and Donald James Pope and his wife, Tanya, 8 grandchildren Athena, Justin, Christopher, Joshua, Micheal, Chelsea, Allie and Pierce, 6 great grandchildren Rayne, Aiden, Aurora, Addison, Scarlette and Greyson. Carol is also survived by her brothers, John Brown and Tim Brown and sister, Debbie Brown Norris. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 6th from 10:00 am until 1:45 pm at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 North Carolina Drive. Interment will immediately follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery at 2:30 pm. Services entrusted to Hillcrest Funeral Home.
