Sylvia is survived by her husband, Michael H. Springer; her mother Alicia Macias her son Christopher Alberto Macias (Viridiana); her daughter Lynda Aragon (Steve); and her son Hector Hinojo (Mary).
She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and her siblings; Luis Macias, Alfredo Macias, Gloria Salas and Martha Macias.
A visitation for Sylvia will be held Monday, June 26, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with the rosary to begin at 6:30 PM at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 North Carolina Dr., El Paso, Texas 79915. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at 8:30 AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 131 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, Texas 79907. An interment will occur Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
