Alice Ann Gunning

She was a native of Hardin County, a 1957 graduate of Rineyville High School and was a Kentucky Colonel. She retired from PNC Bank after 31 years and was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church. She was a great wife, mother, grandmother and loved to read and keep herself educated.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Arnold and Gladys Riney and two brothers, Joe Riney and Bill Riney.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, William Gunning; two sons, Larry Gunning and Jerry Gunning both of Hodgenville; three brothers, Charles (Pat) Riney of Elizabethtown, David (Theresa) Riney of Rineyville and Danny (Starlett) Riney of Radcliff; one sister, Mary Riney Widener(Doug) of Gilbertsville; one granddaughter, Cortney (Ian) Scott and one great-grandson, Owen Scott.

Her funeral will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 11 to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
