Beatrice Pearl Best

Pearl was born October 3, 1927 in Eastview, KY. She was a lifetime member of Smith Chapel United Methodist Church in Eastview, KY.

Pearl was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Best; daughter, Janet and 3 brothers and 4 sisters.

Surviving are a son, Gene Best and wife Diana of Mocksville, NC and a granddaughter, Summer Best Cotton of South Carolina. She is also survived by two sisters, Elta Hinner of Fayetteville, NC and Wanda Faye Marks of Louisville, KY.

Pearl was known by all as a kind and caring person who will be missed by her friends, immediate and extended family.

Visitation will be Saturday from 5-8 p.m. and continue after 12 p.m. Sunday at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, KY. The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Smith Chapel United Methodist Church in Eastview, KY. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.

Gene and Diana would like to thank Pearl's special friends at McDonald's in Elizabethtown and Kent's in Mocksville, Somerset Assisted Living family and Trinity Elms Skilled Care in NC. Also a special thank you to Barbara Williams for being her best friend for 65 years.
