Cameron Gage McGar, born on September 24, 1998 in Great Falls, Montana, passed away on Friday, September 26, 2025. A resident of Radcliff, Kentucky, Cameron will be remembered for his love of music and video games. He also enjoyed writing and had dreams of one day writing his own novel.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Charlina P. McGar; sister, Naomi Kathryn Smith; and step-father, James Harlen Smith III.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Chadwick McGar, Sara Kathryn Smith; siblings, Gabrial James Smith, Christian Xavier Smith, Brecken L. McGar, Trevor J. Cox; grandfather, Roger L. McGar; grandmother, Deborah C. Routte; and step-mother, Mindy S. McGar.
A Memorial Visitation will be held at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 10 am to 12 pm. Following the visitation, a Memorial Service will take place at the same venue starting at 12 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made out to Covenant House in Cameron's honor.
His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
