Carol is survived by her husband Jim Wallace, her children Karen Gowen (Spencer), Susan Simmons (Don), Guy Wallace (Brooke), 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and her two sisters Janet and Patty.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Jerry.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, Sept 23 from 3 to 5:30p at Brown Funeral Home, 306 College St, Elizabethtown, KY with services to immediately follow at 6p.
Serving as pall bearers are Ryan Cross, Billy and Matt Simmons, Jagger and Canton Wallace, and Neema Yazdani.
Carol will be laid to rest at a burial service on Wed, Sept 24 at 10a at Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
Donations in Carol’s memory may be made to Grace Lutheran Church (Vine Grove), St Jude Children’s Hospital, or Tunnel to Towers.
