Darlene was born in Hardin County, KY on May 8, 1959 to the late John F. and Willie Mae Townsend Martin.
A wonderful wife, mother, and friend, Darlene was a kind and caring person, who had a heart of gold. She loved her family very much.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two children, Bryan E. Henderson and Rachel Yancey; and four siblings, Eddie Pervis, Larry G. Martin, James Martin, and Bobbie Mathias.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Donald S. Henderson; one son, Steven (Tina) Henderson; one daughter, Amanda (David) Bowling; one sister, Ina Joyce McMillen; seven grandchildren, Alyssa, Jessi, Neina, Eric, Lily, and Addi, and Ava Lynn; four great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.
A graveside service will be held at a later date in Jenkins Cemetery.
