David Louis Riggs

He was a native of Hardin County, and was a self employed contractor. He was saved when he was 13 years old.

He was preceded in death by his father, Sherman W. Riggs; and two brothers, Fineous and Cleatus Riggs.

He is survived by his children, Jeremy Riggs of Indiana and Anjeana Riggs of Sonora; mother, Beatrice Grimes Riggs of Glendale; three brothers, Ronnie Riggs and Larry Riggs both of Elizabethtown, and Vernon Riggs of Glendale; three sisters, Sharoney Hornback (Larry) of Upton, Naomi Coogle (Raymond) of Summit, and Marilyn Stewart (Stephen) of Elizabethtown; six grandchildren, Demetrius Dixon, Dominique Faas, Sierra Staley, Korey Riggs, Leland Riggs, and Emma Riggs; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Jeffries Cemetery.

Visitation is Saturday from 4-8 p.m. and continues Sunday after 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
