She was a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a former member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Illinois, and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Hale; and her parents, Glen and Alice Bate.
She is survived by her son, Toby "Michelle" Hale of Elizabethtown; two daughters, Stacy Andersen of Elizabethtown and Christine "John" Lane of Colorado Springs, Colorado; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
The funeral is Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Pamela J. Thorson officiating. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Kentucky Veteran's Cemetery.
Visitation is from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
