
He was a native of Leitchfield, a member of Morrison Masonic Lodge and was a salesman for Sears and Fisher Auto Parts.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Bridgette Schoening; a son-in-law, Joe Lindsey; his father, Theodore Wallace; his mother, Marjorie Wallace; step father, Otis Gilpin; a brother, David Wallace and a special brother, Charles Sparks.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Hanses Wallace; two sons, Donald Theodore Wallace, Jr. of Van Buren, Ark. and David Wallace of Elizabethtown; one daughter, Sandra Lindsey of Horse Cave; nine grandchildren, Gabrielle Wallace; J. C. Lindsey, Casey Lindsey, David Schoening, Brandon Schoening, Teddy Wallace, Jackie Wallace, Breanna Maul and Stephanie Pitino and 11 great grandchilden.
The funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Garland Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
