

He was a 1964 graduate of West Hardin High School, was a member of White Mills Baptist Church where he took an active role in the Master's Meal Ministry, delivering meals to those in need. He was a caregiver to both his parents during their terminal illnesses. Dwight was an avid car enthusiast and enjoyed drag racing in his younger years and showing his 1967 Chevelle Super Sport later in life. After retirement from HT Hackney, he enjoyed farming, going to car cruises and spending time with his family.
Dwight was preceded in death by his parents, Hillard and Marietta Raymer.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Bettye Mae Raymer; three children, Marsha (Bob) Singer of White Mills, Tom Raymer of Louisville and Stephanie (Zach) Underhill of Elizabethtown; seven grandchildren, Bree Singer, Spencer (Kenzie) Singer, Bella Singer, Mason Douglas, Jaxson Douglas, Greyson Underhill and Landon Underhill and special cousins and close friends.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at White Mills Baptist Church with Pastor Bruce Underhill and Rev. Ron Lewis officiating.
Burial will follow in White Mills Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 12 to 8 p.m. and continue from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at Brown Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the White Mills Baptist Church building fund.
