Earnest Henry Pearson

Earnest served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Cecilia Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his two wives, Alma Hawkins Pearson and Shirley Hilton Pearson; a son, Danny Allen; three brothers, and two sisters.

He is survived by his three daughters, Joyce Pearson (Greg Billingsley), Judy Whidby (George), and Pat Roberts (Barry); six grandchildren, Shannon Peters (Matthew), Jacob Whidby (Amber), Erin and Travis Roberts, Matthew Allen (Beth), and Jenna Colson (Jon); eleven great-grandchildren, Anna Feil, Brynlee and Maverick Whidby, Abrem Brown, Leyton and Georgia Roberts, Lucy and Annelise Allen, Jase, Clay, and Lily Colson. He is also survived by a sister, Anna Supinger.

Visitation will be held at Brown Funeral Home, located at 306 College St., Elizabethtown, Kentucky, on January 12, 2026, from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at the same location, beginning at 2:00 pm. Earnest will be laid to rest at Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
