Elsie Charline Rich

She was a lifelong member of Elizabethtown Church of Christ and worked for several years as a bookkeeper at First Citizens Bank. She loved framing, working with flowers and was a loving mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, Riley Thomas Carter and Willis Rich; her parents, Charles B. and Dana Edwards Richardson and two brothers, Charles Richardson, Jr. and Billy Joe Richardson.

Survivors include her two children, Joe (Angela) Carter and Susan (Greg) Pawley all of Elizabethtown; two step-children, Tammy (Frank) Hestand of Versailles and Tracey Giles of Lawrenceburg; seven grandchildren, Nick Carter, Sophie (Elijah) Bumgardner; Brandt Pawley; Jackson (Emily) Pawley, Hannah Giles, Haidyn Giles and Emily Hestand.

The funeral will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Elizabethtown Church of Christ with Bro. John Board and Bro. Ray Pack officiating. Burial will be private.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday and continue after 12 noon on Friday at Elizabethtown Church of Christ.
