Fred T Eidson Jr.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Wanda and Fred Eidson, Sr.; two brothers, Robert Eidson and James Eidson.

He is survived by his loving wife Sue; three stepdaughters, Alice Slaubaugh (Ryan), Sabrina Riggs (Donald), and Beth Pearson (Robbie); Tom is also survived by a brother, Dan Eidson; two sisters, Judy and Betty; 14 nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Thomas Armstrong, of TN.

Tom was raised on a farm in Maryville, TN, and at a young age he left the farm and joined the Ringling Brothers and Barnum Bailey Circus Train, where he was an animal caretaker. They traveled the United States by train and held many performances along the way. He later returned to the farm to help care for his dad. In his later years he came to KY and worked in the Riverside Stone Company Rock Quarry in Brandenburg, KY.

A service to honor Tom’s life will take place on Friday, September 6th, at 2 PM, at the Yates Chapel Community Church. Guests will be able to attend visitation on Friday from 12 PM until the time of the service at 2 PM. He will be laid to rest following the service at Yates Chapel Cemetery.
