

He was a native of Elizabethtown, and a member of Valley Creek Baptist Church where he was a former usher. He owned DX Gas Station with his brother, Hoover, from 1958 to 1961 then learned to repair watches and opened Same Day Watch Repair which later became Priddy Jewelers. He especially loved his kids and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Belva Priddy; parents, Theodore "Dora" and Alma Jaggers Priddy; siblings, Hoover, Opal, Frances, Donnie, and James; and grandson, Stephen Michael Hart.
He is survived by his four children, Judy Hart, Karen (Morris "Peanut") Killensworth, Wesley (Sheree) Priddy and Connie (Carl) Bee all of Elizabethtown; five siblings, Russell, Dorothy, Ada, Marie, and Catherine; 15 grandchildren, Kim, Crystal, Mandy, Tyler, Tim, Marc, Tracie, Carla, Cathy, Ben, Lauren, Dawn, Andrew, Aaron and Alec; and 21 great grandchildren.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday and continues after 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
