
He was a native of Drift, KY and retired from the U.S. Army, having served during WWII and the Korean Wars and earned his Combat Infantry Badge and three bronze stars. He also retired from Civil Service. He served a total of Forty years of service in the Government of the United States of America.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bok He Salisbury, his father and mother, Tom and Myrtle Spencer Salisbury and two brothers, Ray Salisbury and Roy Salisbury.
He is survived by five daughters, Linda (Tim) Manco, Loretta (Paul) Gipson, Barbara Salisbury all of Elizabethtown, Debbie (Fernando) Lucio of Moreno Valley, CA and Jeannie (Bill) Tyler of Milwaukee, WI and 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and a sister, Darlena S. Martin of Drift, KY.
The funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and continue after 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
