

A native of Weinheim, Germany and resident for the past 22 years of Hardin County, she was a member of College Heights United Methodist Church, a member of the United Methodist Women and also part of the HMH Hospital Auxiliary for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. W.M. Ach.
Survivors include a daughter, Johanna Sims (Kenneth); two sons, Christian (Debbie) and Michael (Terrie) both of Nicholasville; seven grandchildren, Jennifer (Ach) Shackelford, Charlie, Andy, and Ellie Sims (Clan), Kelsey Ach (King), Christian Ach (Rose), and Clay Ach (Brianna); and six great grandchildren.
The family has chosen a private graveside service and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the ALS Association, 1300 Wilson Blvd. Suite 600, Arlington, VA 22209 (www.als.org) in order to find a cure for Lou Gehrig's Disease or the College Heights United Methodist Church building fund.
