Janice was a proud member of Elizabethtown Baptist Church and played an extremely active role in the Women's Missionary Union. She was an alumna of Georgetown College and cherished her weekly gatherings with friends at McDonald's. Janice dedicated 38 years of her career as a Lab Tech at Baptist Health Hardin. Her favorite hobby was traveling, and she explored the world extensively. Above all, she loved her family, especially her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ruel and Nina Cook, and her sister, Virginia Dale Cook.
Left to cherish her memory are her cousins, Cheryl McClure (Gary) and Sharon Davis (Doug), along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
There will be a Visitation on Monday, January 12, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 12pm EST at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, KY. A Memorial Service will begin at 12pm EST. Burial is to follow in Jamestown, KY at 3pm CST.
