She was born March 13, 1983 in Yonkers, New York. She was lovingly welcomed into the family of Wilfredo and Olga Soto where she brought immediate love and joy into their home. As their only child for many years Olga and Wilfredo doted on Jenn with fun frilly dresses, dolls, and a million cousins from the Soto and Bosque family to play with. They were so very proud to finally be parents.
Jennifer attended St. Bartholomew’s Catholic School and was active in the St. Mary’s Church community with her parents. At St. Mary’s she was baptized and received her Holy Communion.
In 1993, the Soto Family moved to West Chester, Pennsylvania where they found community at St. Agnes Parish within the thriving Hispanic community. Jennifer attended St. Simon & Jude, Pierce Middle School and graduated from Henderson High School. During her years growing up in West Chester she was very active in the St. Agnes Hispanic Youth Group, she enjoyed playing the piano (especially Titanic theme song “my heart will go on”) and attending dances at the Italian Social Club in downtown West Chester.
Jennifer is described as a simple and sweet soul. She was the type person who would give you the food off her plate and give a ride to a stranger in need. Jennifer was spiritual and maintained a relationship with God her whole life.
She enjoyed scary movies and comedies. Most of all she enjoyed music, especially Spanish ballads about love. Jenn was a big believer of love and she found that big love in her children, Eric Romero (17) and Elizabeth Piña (13). For the past 18 years she had made Elizabethtown, Kentucky her home where she raised her kids close to their families.
She is survived by her parents Olga Soto (70), Wilfredo Soto (70), siblings Stacey Anthony (34), brother-in-law Vincent Anthony (39), Wilfred “Will” Soto (33) and her children Eric Romero (17) and Elizabeth Piña (13). Jenn was joyously awaiting the arrival of a new niece or nephew, Baby Anthony, due June 2025. Jennifer is additionally survived by a large loving family with many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins from the Soto and Bosque families who predominately reside in New York and Puerto Rico but are spread across the United States.
