Klaus-Peter Wood

He was an avid UK and Bengals fan. He loved to fish and was a great husband, father, and grandfather.

Mr. Wood was preceded in death by his parents, Talmadge and Hannahlore Wood and a grandson, Leeland Scott Wood.

He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Vertrees Wood of Elizabethtown; one son, Scottie (Denita) Wood of Breckenridge County; one daughter, Crystal Wood of Elizabethtown; three sisters, Sandy (Robert) Robertson of Radcliff, Stephanie (Kevin) Sherrard of Rineyville, and Penny (Dennis) Schroader of White House, TN; six grandsons, Austin (Kayla), Anthony (Olivia), Aaron (Laci) , Kasper, Aiden, and Alex Wood; two great-grandchildren, Jase and Paisley; one great-grandson on the way, Kase James; and a host of extended family.

Visitation will be from 12 to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.
