Louis was a U.S. Navy Veteran and retired from International Harvester. He was a devoted and wonderful father who enjoyed playing golf, his pets, and spending time with his grandkids.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Elzie and Dorothy Sanders; and his son, James Sanders.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Penny McDowell (John); grandchildren, Joshua Sanders (Courtney), Jami Ammons (Blake), Cody Deeley (Lisa), Shannon Deeley; 6 great-grandchildren; and sister, Ruby Sanders Pepper (Leonard).
Visitation for Louis will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025, from 10am – 12pm at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. Funeral Service will be at 12pm with a burial to follow at Cave Hill Cemetery.
