

Marcella is survived by her loving husband of nearly 50 years, Sammy Reed. She leaves behind her son, Johnathan Reed (Susan), and daughters, Michelle Eichenberger, Melissa Argenbright, and Chastity Reed. Her brother, Louis Schell Jr., and sister, Mary Kayrouz, also mourn her passing. Marcella was a beloved grandmother to six grandchildren, Jake Reed, Jake Moss, Nicole Estes, Brittany Gamarra, Jesse Eichenberger and Katie Eichenberger; and cherished by a host of great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Louis Schell Sr., as well as a special brother-in-law, Charlie Kayrouz, and special sisters-in-law, Barbara and Linda Schell.
Marcella retired from Scotty's Contracting after over 20 years of dedicated service. She never met a stranger and was known for her love of camping at Moutardier, reading books, feeding birds, and traveling in her motor home. She had a special fondness for Savannah, Georgia, and Tybee Island. Marcella enjoyed sitting on the back deck of her home, drinking tea, and admiring her flowers. She took great joy in watching her grandson, Jake, play basketball.
In her community, Marcella was a devoted member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church.
Marcella Reed will be remembered for her warmth, love of life, and the joy she brought to those around her.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 4 PM until 8 PM. It will continue Friday, February 6,2026 at 9 AM until time of service at 11 AM. Services will be held at Brown Funeral Home. Burial will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery.
