Margaret Josephine Puckett

Josephine was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Puckett Sr.; her parents, Jess and Laura Wilson; her sons, James Puckett II and Thomas Puckett; and her brother, Ira Wilson. She is survived by her sons, Kenneth Puckett and his wife Mary, and Michael Puckett and his wife Kim; her daughter, Deborah Willis and her husband Kenny; and her daughter-in-law, Angie Puckett. Josephine also leaves behind a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will continue to honor her memory.

In her personal life, Josephine was devoted to gardening, was a compassionate caregiver, and was known for being a keeper of stray cats. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her family and into her community.

Josephine was a dedicated member of Memorial United Methodist Church for over 50 years, where she contributed to the community with her unwavering faith and service.

Visitation will be held at Brown Funeral Home, located at 306 College St., Elizabethtown, KY 42701, on February 12, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and again on February 13, 2026, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. A funeral service will follow at the same location on February 13, 2026, at 11:00 am. Josephine will be laid to rest at Elizabethtown City Cemetery.

Margaret "Josephine" Puckett will be remembered for her kindness, dedication, and love for her family and community. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
