Martha Faye (O'Brien) Heck

She was a native of Hardin County, a longtime resident of Cecilia and a member of St. James Catholic Church.

Faye was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Robert Franklin Heck, Sr.; her parents, James and Lillian Nall O’Brien; a grandson, Jerrit Ryan Heck; a great-grandson, Weslee Scott Ashlock; one brother, Robert O’Brien and three sisters, Alice Hazelwood, Doris Keith and Peggy Blair.

Survivors include her four children, Vonita Heck, Debra (Gary) Lewis, Robert (Jan) Heck, Jr. and Richard (Betty) Heck Sr.; two sisters, Betty Tarter and Becky Hoffman; eleven grandchildren, Jillian (Ryan) McNary, Alex (Sabina) Lewis, Holly (Brent) Hillard, Thomas (Christina) Ashlock, Caroline Heck, Zachary Heck, Richard Heck II, Krista Heck, Emily (Levi) Yates, Jordan Cutts and Madyson Cutts and seven great grandchildren, Tristan, Emerson, Everette, Zoey, Jacob, Skylar and Maria Faustina.

The funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church with Father Chuck Walker officiating.

Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery.

Visitation will begin on Friday at 9 am at Brown Funeral Home.
