Mary Jane Boone

She was a native of Hardin County and a lifelong member of St. James Catholic Church. She was a beautician before raising her children. She was a caring wife, mother, grandmother and friend and enjoyed cooking for others.

She was preceded in death by a son, Robert W. Boone, Jr.; her parents, James L. and Nora E. Thomas and five brothers, Francis A. Thomas, Orville E. Thomas, James Wilburn Thomas, John Thomas and William Thomas.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Robert W. "Bob" Boone; one son, Bryan A. Boone of Elizabethtown; one daughter, Sonia (Jason) Felker of Cecilia and three grandchildren, Jared Felker, Kalie Felker and Brennan Boone.

The funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Martin Linebach officiating. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. and continue after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Her pallbearers will be Ronnie Thomas, Kevin Thomas, Dean Thomas, David Boone, Darrell Boone, Jared Felker and Brennan Boone.
