She was a native of Gates City, VA and loved being around her family.
She was preceded in death by a son, James "Jimmy" Gibson and her parents, Grover and Pearl Lane.
She is survived by her husband, Billy Joe Henderson; two sons, Thomas Wayne Gibson of Radcliff and Joseph Dean Henderson of Franklin; three brothers, Jack Lane, Sammy Lane and Jimmy Lane and a sister, Jo Anne Henry all of Virginia; seven grandchildren, Amanda Fegett, Desiree Gibson, Mary Gibson, Cory Gibson, Latasha Gibson, Ashley Gibson and Tyler Gibson.
The funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Valley Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and continue after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
