He eventually settled in Preston, Idaho, where he built a beautiful log cabin and embraced the ranch life. He enjoyed raising chickens, cows, and cultivating and selling alfalfa.
Maurice had a deep love for 50’s country music and often found joy in sharing his passion for the tunes of that era especially with his granddaughter.
He was known for his willingness to lend a helping hand without expecting anything in return and was always a source of support for his family and friends.
Maurice will be fondly remembered for his storytelling, and his booming laughter. He will be missed dearly by all who had the privilege of crossing paths with him.
A memorial service to honor Maurice’s life will be held at a later date in New Jersey.
