

He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather, and loved his family. Michael was a Christian and attended New Hope Community Church.
Michael graduated from University of Louisville where he received his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and served as an ROTC Instructor. He served in the U.S. Army for 22 years. After his retirement, Michael served 15 years as a Police Officer with Radcliff Police Department, worked with the Lebanon Junction Police Department, and the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office. He was a die-hard Louisville Cardinals Fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Betty Ritchie Keffer.
Survivors include his wife of 51 ½ years, Debra Brown Keffer; his children, Steven (MaryBeth) Keffer, Cynthia (Rodney) Campbell, and Stephanie (Leo) Hobbs; 9 grandchildren; Zachary (Sabrina) Sorenson, Brendan Grider, Payton Keffer, Madison Grider, Kaylynn Keffer, Annaleigh Keffer, Trenton Gilpin, Leo Hobbs IV, and Cole Hobbs; and his siblings, Paul Keffer, Robert (Sherri) Keffer, Kenny Keffer, and Paulette (Joe) Cochran.
Michael will be interred at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery in Radcliff at a later date.
