Neda Howey Lively

Neda was preceded in death by her parents Thomas & Zana Cowherd; her brother, David Cowherd; her sister-in-law, Bonnie Cowherd; and two husbands, Ronnie Lively & Bill Howey. She is rejoicing and singing with those who went on before her now. Those left behind for a short while are her brothers, Paul (Joyce) and James (Cathy Wise) Cowherd; her three children that she adored, Bryan (Ericka) Howey, Neil (Andrea) Howey, and Bethany (Travis) Vaughan; a step-son, Bryan (Deanna) Lively; and seven grandchildren, Tessa Howey, Will Howey, Owen Howey, Miranda Howey, Anna Vaughan, Isaac Vaughan, and Lydia Vaughan and sister-in-law Patti Cowherd.

She loved her grandchildren and was always there to support them in whatever they did. Above all else she loved Her Lord Jesus Christ and lived every single day to serve Him. From playing piano and teaching Sunday School for more than 50 years at Blue Ball Baptist Church to making meals for those who were sick. Though her life wasn't always easy, her smile always brightened everyone's day. She was an amazing daughter, sister, Momma, Mamaw, and friend.

The funeral 11 A.M. Monday, M ay 27, 2024 at Blue Ball Baptist Church with Bro. Glen Cornett officiating. Burial follows in Blue Ball Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday from 3 to 8 P.M. at the church and continue after 9 A.M. Monday.
