She was born on October 20, 1941, in Elizabethtown, to the late Louis and Myrtle Butler.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Smith; siblings, Richard Butler, Edward Butler, Dorothy McMillen, and Lucille Rust.
She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Smith Wise (Jerry Kessinger); she was also blessed with numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation time will be held on Monday, April 14, from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Brown Funeral Home, 306 College Street, Elizabethtown. Per her wishes, cremation will follow.
