

Bob was born on October 4, 1923, to Robert C. Duggins, Sr. and Ruby Wilson Duggins in Upton, KY. He was a WWII veteran, where he was drafted but because of a medical condition, was discharged early. Bob was a carpenter and built many homes and apartments including building his home when he was 80 years old. Bob was an active member of Severns Valley Baptist Church for many years, serving as deacon, trustee and Sunday School Department Director. Bob was a member of Severns Valley Baptist Builders where he worked on churches in Elizabethtown, Eastern Kentucky, Ohio and California. He traveled to Honduras six times and once to Israel to do maintenance work.
He is a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Elizabeth Cardin Duggins and a sister Gwendolyn Best.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Priddy Sullivan; his children, Ann Duggins Schell (Ivan) and Robert Shelby Duggins (Bonnie); grandchildren, Cris Duggins Riney (Mike) and Blake Duggins (Lauren), Lisa Walker (Terry) and Lindsey Schell (Kirk Cesari); great-grandchildren, Zachary Duggins (Alicia), Drew Duggins (Rachael), and Hadlee Duggins, and Taylor, Bailey and Sydney Thomas; great-great grandchildren, Valon Duggins and Brynnlee Duggins; two step-sons, Tony Sullivan (Sue) and J. D. Sullivan (Brenda); several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at Brown Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial follows in Hardin Memorial Park.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Crusade for Children.
