He was a native of Summit and a Charter member of Summit General Baptist Church. He retired from FBM Properties and Falls City Boat Works.
Tony was preceded in death by a daughter, Marshia; an infant son, George and his parents, Ira and Flora Raymer Terry.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Ann Dennis Terry; three children, Tony M. (Tammy) Terry, Jr., Diann T. (Tom) Hall and Erica C. (Kyle) Ohman; two sisters, Rita Watkins and Margie Rainey; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Wilford Logsdon and Rev. Donald Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Hebron Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday from 4 -8 p.m. and continue after 12 noon Friday at the funeral home.
