She was a native of Hardin County, was a member of First Christian Church, and retired from Big Lots. She loved to bowl and was a loving and caring aunt and great aunt.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Viola Fulkerson Best; and three sisters, Margie Best, Mary Carter, and Betty Davis.
She was survived by one brother, Riley Best of Elizabethtown; and two brother-in-laws, Allen Davis and Howard Carter both of Elizabethtown. She was loved by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 12 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Brother Doug Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in White Mills Cemetery.
Visitation will start at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
