Robert McGregor

Robert McGregor, of Elk Rapids, MI, passed away, February 28, 2015. Robert was born to Burton and Leola (Truckey) McGregor on August 31, 1936. On January 17, 1959, Robert married Sandra Gusie-his best friend. Together they raised four children: Linda Leaman, Karen (Brian) Huggins, Laurie McGregor (Warren Brunner), Daniel (Kathy) McGregor and enjoyed their grandchildren: Trent Leaman (1981-2013), David Neuenfeldt, Ashley Huggins, Christen McGregor, and Claire McGregor. Robert served in the United States Army and after his discharge in 1957, two years after his discharge, Bob joined the I.B.E.W., Local 557 as an apprentice electrician, retiring in 1999. Sandy and Bob enjoyed retirement together; living in Florida before moving back to settle in Elk Rapids, Michigan. They enjoyed golfing, fishing, and traveling: including trips to Alaska, New Orleans, Nova Scotia, Maine, San Francisco, and Wyoming. He is survived by one brother, Richard McGregor of Saginaw.
