Ann is loved by all who were lucky enough to know her. Her humor and infectious smile could brighten anyone’s day, even a random stranger. Her beautiful soul and the love she felt for her friends and family will always be remembered.
She had pets her entire adult life and loved all animals especially her most recent pets, cat Maggie & dog Nadine, and the wild deer and many birds that came to visit behind her home. Ann also had a talent for crafts and especially enjoyed crocheting and plastic canvas. She even tried her hand at painting and was really good at it! In her free time, she enjoyed going to plays and Broadway shows, watching movies, (Meet Joe Black was her favorite) and reading. With the invention of the iPad, she always commented on how many books were available right at your fingertips!
In earlier years, much of Ann’s time was spent with her family playing games, talking for hours, and of course laughing – many times she was the one making everyone laugh with her playful personality. If you’ve never laughed with Ann Leduc, you’ve never truly laughed! Ann also loved to spend time in Ocean City, MD and Cape May, NJ with her family. She loved the peacefulness she found while near the beach and ocean.
Zimmer Mid-Atlantic/Zimmer Biomet had the best employee in Ann for close to 16 years. During her time there, she was immensely proud of her work, taking care of “her guys”, and many colleagues became friends.
Ann deserved so much more from life than what was given to her at times; but always, no matter what she was dealing with in her own life, had kind words for everyone and shared love and support in a way that only she could.
Ann is survived by her loving family: daughter, Kimberly Leduc & Chris Sheridan, sister Dorothy Johnson, nephew John Johnson, Jr. & wife Jennifer, niece Jennifer Johnson & Charlie Hubbard, great nephew John Johnson III, and great niece Riley Hubbard.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family has chosen to hold a memorial service at a later date. This site will be updated when arrangements have been finalized.
In lieu of flowers, tribute gift donations may be made in memory of Ann to House of Ruth Maryland. https://hruth.org/donate/.
