On November 28, 2020 Bernard "Bernie" Jerry Wingate, passed away at the age of 71. Bernie was the beloved husband of the late Verna Delle Miller and the devoted father of Karen Seidl (Mark), Joseph Karasek, III (Dawn) and Brian Wingate (Kari); dear brother of Bonnie Lawrence (Jack), Ricky Wingate (Kathy) and the late Shirley Bertholdt (the late Donald) and the late Charles Wingate (the late Petie); cherished Pop Pop of Megan Tripp (Rich), Zachary Seidl, Heather Rivera (Luis), Joseph Karasek, IV, and Dylan Wingate; great-grandfather of Rosalie Delle Tripp and Isabella Joan Rivera.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc. 7250 Washington Blvd., Elkridge, Maryland 21075 (Exit 6 South off Route 100) on Saturday and Sunday, December 5th and 6th, 2020 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home on Monday, December 7, 2020 at 10:00am. Interment Loudon Park Cemetery.
