Frances Anna Durham

Frances Anna Durham, age 88, died Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin, MD. Born in Baltimore she was the daughter of the late George O'Neal and Anna Hlafka O'Neal. She was preceded in death by her husband Melvin Durham.

Mrs. Durham was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Ocean Pines, the Merry Widows and was active with the Worcester County Senior Center.

Loving mother of Diane Durham of Berlin, MD and the late Francine Florey and her husband James of Baltimore; devoted friend, Susan Woytowitz of Berlin, a sister, Theresa Miller and her husband Carl of St. Augustine, FL; 6 grandchildren, James Florey, Jr., Debbie Heckathorne, Elizabeth Goodnow, Mary Livingstone, Rachel Wilson and John Florey; 15 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 11:00 am at St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Ocean Pines, MD. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc., 7250 Washington Boulevard, Elkridge, MD (exit 6 off Rt. 100)on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm . Graveside Service and Interment will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Elkridge, MD at 12:00 Noon.
