On Sunday December 1, 2013, George Abbott, III, beloved husband of Diane Abbott passed away. Loving father of George Abbott, IV, Christy Stamper and husband, John, George Farmer and wife, Jen, and Brian Farmer, beloved grandfather of Ashleigh, Julie, Judy, Jenna, Alex, Jillian, Kendall. He is also survived by his brothers, Albert, David and sister, Jackie, a host of loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George Abbott, Jr. and Mary Lou Abbott, and brother, Mark Abbott.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc. 7250 Washington Blvd., Elkridge, MD 21075 (Exit 6 South off Route 100) on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 from 2-4 p.m. & 6-8 p.m., where funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 11 a.m. A private interment will be held at a later date.
